The orchestra was first organized in 1960 and continues to be one of the busiest and most popular musical groups in Central Texas. Hailed by the Austin American-Statesman as "Austin's premiere ballroom dance orchestra, something several generations of fans will be happy to tell you," the group also received national coverage through the pages of Dancing USA.
Since our orchestra plays for many wedding, anniversary, and dance functions in Central Texas, we thought you would be interested in knowing about our services. We are a variety band, meaning we do it all - Big Band Standards, Latin, Rock, Polkas, Waltzes, Dixieland, Country & Western, plus your favorite college - university fight song, and because of the age factor of people attending wedding receptions and other dance functions- your friends, parents, grandparents, aunts, and uncles - the wide variety of music we play insures everyone is entertained. Our music library is comprised of more than 300 special arrangements of music that spans eight decades.
