Led by Will Taylor, Strings Attached is a collection of stellar artists, each widely-known for their respective musical abilities. The group includes Taylor on viola, violin, guitar and percussion, Shawn Sanders on cello and electric bass, Javier Chaparro on violin, and John Fremgen on acoustic bass. The idea for Strings Attached grew out of Taylor’s frequent collaborations with artists from the pop, rock and folk worlds. Taylor formed the group last year and the new cd developedTaylor’s ties to an eclectic group of singers and songwriters.
Strings Attached, a very popular group for wedding ceremonies, receptions, and religious services, is an exciting string quartet that performs sacred and secular classical and popular music. From Pachelbel's Canon to Mozart quartets to Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring to Anything Goes, the group is an excellent choice for almost any event. Joy String is also available in an exclusively jazz format, featuring a diverse assortment of tunes from bebop to swing, many personally arranged by owner, Will Taylor.
